You can fish for King and Red salmon in the beautiful, fast flowing Klutina River or the serine, slow moving Gulkana River. Take a day trip to the historic mining town of McCarthy and visit the early twentieth century Kennecott Copper Mine. Visit Chitina for an experience you won't soon forget. You can take flight-seeing trips over the many glaciers in the Wrangell and Chugiak mountains. Take a float trip or a River Boat adventure. Be a dog musher or ice climber, follow a map and hike the many trails in the Copper Basin. Then spend a day exploring the power of the glaciers rivers and mountains of Alaska. Drive to the Alyeska Pipeline terminal in Valdez. Fish for halibut and silver salmon in scenic Prince William Sound, take a boat tour to the breath taking Columbia Glacier, kayak Prince William Sound or take a white water trip down Keystone Canyon.
